Dine-In Restaurant Chain Evaluation

The engagement included research, analysis and evaluation of 26, dated and partially closed, dine-in restaurants located throughout the southeastern US. Upon analysis, it was determined that the best approach for the assignment was to value each restaurant individually rather than as a single package.

The production of the reports included: Completing a full narrative analysis on each dine-in restaurant as well as an in-depth market analysis. This was accomplished in a four-week turnaround time.

Textile Manufacturing Company Valuation and Consultation

The engagement involved the inspection and analysis of 16 facilities ranging in age from 15 to almost 100 years and located predominantly in the Southeast. The challenge of this assignment was to accurately evaluate the likelihood of continued use of the oldest and most special use facilities.

The assignment was completed in a timely manner allowing the borrower to continue operating without business interruptions. The comprehensive narrative reports were also distributed in the ensuing syndication of the loan.

Real Estate Portfolio Consultation

This engagement type involves the periodic valuation and due diligence on various loan portfolios backed by large numbers of real properties throughout the U.S.. A sample of the properties is inspected and market research is conducted to ascertain demand and supply as well as verify stated value estimates. In addition, documentation for each loan is reviewed and verified on a spot check basis.

The challenge of this assignment is to accurately reflect current market conditions as the clients lending decision are based on current value estimates.
